Gold Star Pro Weekly Newsletter – Getting Ready for 2026
It’s hard to believe we’re already a week out from December. KL has been such a fun stop for us, and we’ve really been soaking it in, including eating our way through more dim sum than I’d care to admit. We don’t have long left in Asia, so we’re definitely making the most of it while we’re here.
A real highlight over the last couple of weeks has been catching up with our GSP family in real life. I’ve been spending time with our Account Manager, Sara Trenouth, and meeting some of our amazing GSP users along the way, including Sophie Leung and Isha Vella. Never in a million years did I think our travel adventures would overlap with meeting customers scattered across the globe, but it’s honestly one of my favourite parts of this journey.
ARE YOU READY FOR 2026?
As we head towards a brand new year, this is the perfect time to pause and think about what you want your business to look like in 2026. Not just the day-to-day tasks, but the bigger picture. The vision. The projects you want to build. The income you want to create. The lifestyle you want your business to support.
Inside Gold Star Pro, we see so many different types of businesses grow in so many different ways. Some people want to automate more. Some want to build out new offers. Some want to create better systems so they can take time off without stress. And others simply want their business to feel easier and more organized.
To help you map out what you want to create in 2026, we’ve started a conversation inside the community. Come share your goals, your ideas, or the thing you’d love to build but haven’t had the space for yet. The more we understand what you’re aiming for next year, the better we can support you, give you direction, and help you use GSP to bring those plans to life.
LOOKING AHEAD TO WHAT’S NEXT FOR GSP
In 2026, GSP will celebrate our fifth birthday, so I’ve been thinking a lot about what we’ve built together. Yes, the software is a huge part of what we do, but it’s always been clear to me that Gold Star Pro is more than just tech.
We’ve grown into a community of small business owners supporting small business owners. A place where people ask questions, share wins, get strategy ideas, and help each other move forward. And that community side is something I really want to build on.
So as we move into our fifth year, we’re looking at ways to strengthen that part of the experience. More connection. More support. More opportunities to learn from each other. More of the things that genuinely help you grow.
And because this community is yours as much as it’s mine, I’d love your input.
If this was the most amazing, business focused community you could be part of, what would it include? What would make it truly valuable for you?
And just as important, what are some areas we could improve?
I can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
UNDERSTANDING YOUR WALLET, BILLING AND RECHARGE SETTINGS
We’ve had a few people reach out this week asking, “Why am I seeing an extra ten dollar charge on my card?” So I wanted to give a quick explanation of what’s happening behind the scenes.
The short answer is: this is your wallet automatically recharging.
Your wallet covers all add-ons inside Gold Star Pro, including SMS, WhatsApp, and any extra emails you send above your plan’s monthly limit. Most accounts are set to automatically top up with ten dollars whenever the wallet balance drops below the baseline you’ve chosen. This keeps everything running smoothly in the background so your messages don’t stop sending.
This week’s video walks you through exactly where to find your billing area, how to check your wallet balance, and how to see what your credits are being used for. You’ll also learn how to update your card details, view and download past invoices, and adjust your recharge settings if you want to change how the system behaves.
If you’ve ever wondered about the extra ten dollar charge or want a clearer picture of your spending, this tutorial will make everything simple.
